The Equality Act 2010 brings together all the legal requirements on equality that apply to the private, public and voluntary sectors.  It includes equality law at work and in delivering a whole range of services. It replaces all the existing equality law and removes inconsistencies, making equality legislation simpler to understand and comply with.  It also strengthens the law, making it easier to tackle disadvantage and inequality.

This course is particularly relevant for employers and service providers from the public, private or voluntary sectors.

It will assist you to:

Eliminate discrimination in your recruitment and employment practices and service deliver

Increase customer and staff satisfaction and well-being

Recognise your responsibilities and liabilities

Course Aims

The aim of this course is to provide an understanding of the main obligations of employers and service providers under the Equality Act 2010.

The course will take place at 9.30am – 4.15pm on February the 1st at the  Equality & Human Rights Commission, 3rd Floor, 3 Callaghan Square,   Cardiff CF10 5BT. The course costs £85 per person and this includes all learning materials and a certificate of attendance.
