MEWN Women Food Exchange Project

MEWN Cymru and Newport’s Share Centre have teamed up to develop a Women Food Exchange and need your votes to secure funding

Nina Finnegan from the Share Centre says “As well as combating loneliness and isolation, “Food Exchange” will help women gain qualifications, share their recipes and create their own cook book.  SHARE and the Newport Central Communities First team did a pilot “Food Exchange” session recently, which was very successful and participants asked if it could be continued.  We can do this if we get the funding so please vote.”
MEWN is the Minority Ethnic Women’s Network for Wales. It is an umbrella body representing ethnic minority (visible and non visible)women across Wales, regardless of their age, religious observance, ethnicity or life choices.
